Darkness filled the foggy cemetery, my vision impaired by the eerie white thickness of the fog. I sway at the thick white clouds attempting to make my way through the cemetery located in the downtown area of the city. The moon emitting an essence of fright with it's lively yet calm presence. Ghosts of young trick-or-treaters playfully floated all about the wide open cemetery, the cold October air culminating with the souls and ghouls loitering about. The tombstones serving as a throne for deceased couples whom sadly never fulfilled their romantic aspirations in a past life. As I glared up at the night sky, I witness airbourne masters of witchcraft all arrogantly spreading their thoughts of superiority. Vocal cords being stressed intensely sounding like wicked choruses of the darkest realms. As my body becomes coiled with ever-thickening fog, I feel a soft touch on my right shoulder. I hesitantly turn around as my paranoia becomes wild like untamed lions feasting upon deceased prey. I then come face to face with a ghostly figure of a little girl who's school outfit seemed large for her stature. Her long hair flowed down to her feet like a black waterfall. The girl's gaze passionately delivered warmth to my heart and soul. It was as if a sun had risen over the unpure, fiendish qualities that encompass a part of my human nature. She lifted her arm up, sleeve hanging giving off a naive aura in her personality, then placed it on my shoulder. " Oh, did I scare you?" she asked in a monotone voice. The paranormal activity being contrived by the glowing spectral gang of spirits whilst her and I conversated began to make the young girl seem a little intimidating. "No, I'm fine." "Thanks for asking though" I replied trying to hide my sudden anxiety. The girl smiled and lifted her arms skyward like a person attempting to cease all tantrum and distrubance in an auditorium. The poltergiests froze, the witches halted in mid-air, couples of the after life all turned their heads to the center stage: The girl and I. I felt time freeze over yet my thoughts boiled spontaneously like yolk being dropped in a greasy pan. I maintained my composure and stepped forth, " I would like to request a battle!" The girl nodded as she reached down towards her waist and took a Pokeball off her trainer belt hiding under the school-girl outfit. " Three on three, you are permitted to switch out while I am forbidden to do so." she said setting forth the rules of battle. I bolted a smile as I called upon my ace Pokemon, Blaziken. Blaziken confidently stood by my side determined to work together with me in our goal to obtain our third Gym Badge. "Ready when you are." I said to her. She summoned her Froslass which elegantly swirled out upon us creating a frosty ambience in the haunted area. "Good luck now." she replied slyly. Our Pokemon set forth as the battle commenced...
